The Bosnia & Herzegovina Orphan & Family Fund (BHOFF) began to register and support orphans back in the middle of 2000. Many agencies assist orphans in the country, however, Small Kindness especially helps those orphans who have passed the legal age of responsibility (15 years old). Many orphan girls experience difficulties due to the sudden lack of assistance and with no employment available families seriously suffer.

The support that we give these girls provides encouragement and adds confidence to their higher aspirations. It is important for them to know there are others who love them and have concern for them as they grow older, especially as they do not have fathers or mothers to care for them.
