Gift
Aid (UK)
In March 2000, The Chancellor of the Exchequer announced changes
in the budget granting rights to charities to claim back tax from
the Inland Revenue on gifts made after 6th April 2000. Gift Aid
allows us to reclaim the basic rate of tax on donations from individuals
and it doesn't matter how small the donation is. Print our Gift
Aid form here.
Payroll Giving (UK)
Payroll Giving is a flexible scheme that enables donors to make
charitable donations straight from their gross salary. Simply ask
your payroll department to deduct regular donations from your gross
pay before tax which is then sent on to the charity. Not only does
it cost you less to give through your payroll the Government is
also adding 10% to every donation made in this way. So if you gift
£1, it will cost you only 77p yet Small Kindness will actually
receive £1.10!
